During my recent holiday at Hotel Donata, I was thrilled by its perfect location, just two minutes from the chairlift, allowing easy ski-in/ski-out access. As a wildlife conservationist and safari guide from Nairobi, I appreciate places that blend comfort with nature, and the gorgeous mountain views from my room were nothing short of spectacular. While the hotel offered an enticing atmosphere with a welcoming lounge bar, I found the food options a bit underwhelming; the buffet breakfast was basic and lacked variety, prompting us to explore nearby dining options rather than dine in. Nonetheless, the friendly staff made our stay enjoyable, going out of their way to assist us, which resonated with my belief in the value of personal service. Hotel Donata's ambiance and ski facilities provided excellent value for money, making it a suitable choice for a family ski getaway. I highly recommend it to anyone ready to experience the beauty of the Caucasus mountains!
